Dr. Margaret Cotroneo, RN, MSN, Clinical Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing
Dr. Cotroneo has been approved as a provider largely based on
her experience as a psychiatric nurse clinical specialist working
with abused and neglected children and their families, as well
as with adults who have been abused and with perpetrators, in
situations of both intrafamilial and extra familial abuse. She
has been a clinical and didactic instructor of psychiatric-mental
health nursing, teaching content on child abuse at all levels
of education, including community education. Additionally, she
has published on these topics and has been very active in areas
of law,ethics and policy in child abuse prevention and intervention.
She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center
as a clinical specialist in child and adolescent psychiatric-mental
health nursing.
